Yes...i did it...

Yes, I have gone to the Strongman Challenge and manage to stay in one piece!
Love every minute of the challenge and came ninth finally......
Will post pictures soon....
now training for next year and hopefully to do better!
Again thank Allah that I am still in one piece....

My...my new year already....

Well what can I say...a new year to do things right.....
i got new classes and i hope all will be a good year for everyone...
well...i hope this time around....will get to write more frequently.....
got a lot of things coming this year....
new responsibilities at work....being a dad again :)
so far life has treated me well....
well off to work at my desk again....

I know it is long overdue!

Hi, so many things i have done that i forget to share the good things.....

Hmmm, do not know where to start...well here it goes:

May: Olympics 2007 - A success given that it was run fully by respective Sports teachers at short notice; power to the teachers involved....so well run with a lot of initiative and drive...ie after marking the mid year exams..

July: Road Race 2007 - A new initiative, well done Mano!

August: Sec 3 Leaders Camp and Level Camp ; a lot of new things like RESPECT night, Tribal Induction Night and parents coming to see the leaders and campers...a lot of firsts..

By the way...84% of cohort came....power to the students! a new record set in a couple of years!

I am happy that the 5 days are worth it....

Next is the opening of the NRG Hub; a lot of good things happening in the school...

The RESPECT cover six levels: Self, Fellow Students, Teachers, School, Parents and Society.

it will be a while for the values to sink in....

Well what more have I been doing?

Doing my courses in AskNlearn for my students....hopefully this holiday they can revisit it and learn something.......

Things to share.....

Few more weeks to datelines....
2 weeks to leaders investiture....hope the leaders got the info that is needed...
1 week to Sports Day....
5 weeks to northland Olympics.......well what to do.....a teacher's job is always that....meeting datelines....
teaching that still counts....4 weeks to mid year exams...well that is life to me...

on a good note....the gym will be opened to students next week with new equipment and possible collaboration...

Getting momentum....

So good to be back and doing workouts in the gym...
Tell u what.....the gym in school will be up and running next week...yes...we finally got new stuff coming in....thanks Mr Gan....
The gym will be functional with partners coming in to do workshop...seminars....certification.....
more new things coming up in school....the students will benefit from it and i sincerley hope we can make a change in the kids lives.....
Programmes in academic- tying up with a school in sembawang to foster a greater science experience.....

So sick and busy

So long never write.
Been sick from my retreat in March; before the retreat got sick and after getting back from batam, more sick....
Blame it on the bug that has been taunting me from the past few weeks...
Sports Heats 1 and 2 in Yishun Stadium, the leaders performed respectably professional save for a few hiccups; how I hope they can be so much humble and receptive to suggestions. Well, still learning aren't they? Hope they learn much while in the programme.
Love the Passion Arts held at Republic Polytechnic; such a good performance from the rest of the performing groups. Was there with my school leaders; good job guys and gals....
Did a seminar at NUS HiGh school on Character Education; what an eye opener! Maybe need to be a values-infused educator? Time will tell me! Or better just tell me...:)
Meetings after meetings...so tiring but it has to be done:(
Have a new place for the students to gather in the afternoons; cant wait for the launch.....so happening this place will be....
cant wait!
PPC-Peak Performance Club will have a new upgraded gym...cant wait on that too....

I am back! Put the knee operation behind me now!
Did ok; got 11th place- one of the reserves for the finals....
Happy as my objectives of top 15 for this year is achieved.
